FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do sinking funds calculate monthly deposits?
Numza divides your remaining target balance by the months left until your target date. When you record a payment (drawdown), the required monthly deposit adjusts smoothly for the remaining balance without resetting your saved history.
What is the difference between a category budget and a category-group budget?
A single-category budget tracks one specific category (e.g. Groceries). A category-group budget lets you group multiple related categories (e.g. Restaurants, Coffee Shops, and Bars) under a single shared limit.
When do budget alerts trigger?
Alerts trigger locally as soon as a logged expense pushes your monthly spend past 80%, 100%, or over-budget. You can customize alert check frequencies in Settings.
Can I set budgets in different currencies?
Numza supports 19 major currencies. You can set budget limits in your primary account currency, and multi-currency expenses log against your active budget structure.
