1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Numza, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the application.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) to use Numza. By using the application, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. Numza is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3. Permitted Use & Software License

Numza grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application strictly for your personal, non-commercial financial tracking purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

4. Data Responsibility & Retention

Numza stores your expense data, receipts, and account information on our servers to provide synchronization across your devices. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your transaction records, attachments, and configurations are stored on our servers and in cloud object storage.
  • While we maintain server backups for disaster recovery, you are encouraged to periodically export your data using the CSV export feature in the app.
  • Numza is not responsible for data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including cloud infrastructure outages or force majeure events.
  • If you delete your account, your personal data and transaction records will be permanently deleted from our systems. You may export your data using the CSV export feature in the app before deleting your account. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • Sensitive Credentials: Numza is designed strictly for personal budget and expense tracking and is not intended to act as a secure vault for payment card credentials or sensitive personal identity documents. You agree not to upload, scan, or submit any document, receipt image, PDF, or text entry containing full unmasked credit card numbers (PANs), CVVs, PINs, bank passwords, or sensitive government identification numbers.

5. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

Numza offers a Premium (PRO) subscription tier that provides access to advanced features, such as unlimited receipt scanning, voice expense logging, and premium spending insights. By subscribing to the Premium tier, you agree that:

  • Free Trials: Numza may offer a free trial period for the Premium subscription. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you upgrade to a paid subscription during the trial, any unused portion of the free trial will be forfeited.
  • Billing & Renewals: All billing, payments, and renewals are handled and processed through your Google Play Store account (or Apple App Store account, when applicable). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. For existing subscribers, any price increase will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Your continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. If required by the platform, you may be asked to explicitly consent to significant price increases.
  • Cancellations: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your mobile platform's account settings. For Android: Google Play → Subscriptions. For iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting your Numza account in the application settings does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must cancel it manually through the store settings.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are governed by and must be submitted to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. Numza does not directly process subscription payments or refunds.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use Numza for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Upload, store, or transmit full unmasked payment card account numbers (PANs), CVV codes, or sensitive security credentials.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the application.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the application to any third party.
  • Use the application to transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the servers or networks used to provide the service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.

7. Intellectual Property

The Numza name, logo, brand identity, application code, and all related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Webbers Network Plt. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You retain ownership of your expense data and uploaded content; we claim no intellectual property rights over your personal financial data.

8. Third-Party Services

Numza uses third-party services for AI processing, cloud storage, transactional email delivery, and subscription verification. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services, but we select providers that meet our security and privacy standards.

9. Disclaimers

Numza is a budget tracking utility. We do not provide professional financial, investment, or legal advice. The insights, categories, and parsed totals are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all financial entries.

Automated Redaction & Data Sanitization: Numza employs automated algorithms to attempt to redact, mask, or strip sensitive personal identifying information (PII) and payment card numbers from user-uploaded images, PDFs, and text inputs before AI processing or storage. You acknowledge and agree that automated redaction operates on a best-efforts basis and is not guaranteed to be 100% error-free or fully comprehensive in all edge cases (such as poorly lit receipts, non-standard layouts, or handwritten notes). You remain responsible for reviewing your entries and ensuring that sensitive authentication credentials or unmasked card numbers are not submitted.

The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Webbers Network Plt, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Webbers Network Plt, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or access to Numza; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Numza at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting your account through the app settings.

Upon termination, your right to use Numza ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property) shall continue to apply.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Numza shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Webbers Network Plt.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of Numza after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the application and delete your account.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Webbers Network Plt regarding your use of Numza.
