✨ NUMZA INSTALMENT PLANS

Pay Over Time,
Without the Guesswork

Choose a payment schedule of 2 to 36 monthly payments while you add the purchase. Numza counts only this cycle's share against your budget, so the month you pay is the month it shows.

PLAN BASICS

A Plan Starts With the Purchase

When you buy something on 12 monthly payments, the money leaves your account a little at a time. The plan is set up as you add the purchase: open its payment schedule, choose 2 to 36 monthly payments, and every payment gets its own date, so the plan adds up to what you actually owe.

BUDGETS THAT TELL THE TRUTH

Only This Cycle's Share Counts

Most trackers record the whole purchase on day one, then show a month you never had. Numza puts each payment in its own financial cycle, so budgets, month-to-date and reports follow the money as it actually leaves. A plan's total is never a spend figure.

Edit the Plan, Not the Payments

A plan lives on its own screen: what is still owed, every payment and its date, and the actions that move it. Edit the plan and the total re-splits across every payment, settled ones included. Pay the rest off early when you can, or delete the plan and keep the payments you already made as ordinary expenses.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

A Return Mid-Plan Lands in the Right Cycle

Take something back while the plan is running and the refund is written against each instalment it covers, capped at what that payment was. No cycle goes negative, and every payment keeps an honest amount still available to refund.

HOW IT WORKS

Plans in Three Steps

From a purchase to a schedule you can trust.

Step 01

Record the purchase

Add the purchase you already made, then choose Instalment as its payment schedule. The receipt, category, merchant and card you enter stay with it.

Step 02

Set the terms 2 to 36 months

Choose 2 to 36 monthly payments and the first payment date. Enter a monthly amount or a price plus interest; Numza shows the total and the split.

Step 03

Let each cycle settle

Every payment lands in its own cycle. Future payments stay booked but out of your expense list until the day they charge.

SMALL DETAILS

Built for the Way Plans Work

Plans screen

Every active and completed plan, what is still owed, how many payments have settled and when the next one is due.

Dashboard strip

The dashboard card states this cycle's instalment total per currency, so the answer is the month you are in, never a plan's whole balance.

Refunds and payoffs

A refund mid-plan, an early payoff, or a deleted plan all leave the payments you already made intact and the plan's history clear.

FAQ

Instalment Plans, Answered

Does Numza offer instalment plans?
No. Numza does not lend money or sell credit. It tracks a plan you already have, or one you agree with a merchant, so the payments stay visible and count in the right month.
How does a plan affect my budget?
Only the payment due in a cycle counts toward that cycle's budget. The purchase's own cycle carries its first payment, later cycles carry theirs, and the plan's total never appears as spending.
Can I change a plan after I create it?
Yes. Edit plan opens a full-screen editor where the purchase and the plan are changed together, and the total re-splits across every payment. A payment itself is not edited on its own, because the plan is the one place its terms live.
What happens if I refund a plan purchase?
A return that covers everything already charged cancels the payments not yet charged and reads the plan as closed. A partial return is capped at each payment's own amount and leaves the rest of the schedule running.
